In that dayHis feetwill standon the Mountof Olives,whichis in frontof Jerusalemon the east;and the Mountof Oliveswill be splitin its middlefrom eastto westby a verylargevalley,so that halfof the mountainwill movetoward the northand the other halftoward the south.
The gloryof the LORDwentup from the midstof the cityand stoodoverthe mountainwhichis eastof the city.
Allthe landwill be changedinto a plainfrom Gebato Rimmonsouthof Jerusalem;but Jerusalem will riseand remainon its sitefrom Benjamin'sGateas faras the placeof the FirstGateto the CornerGate,and from the Towerof Hananelto the king'swinepresses.
For it will be a uniquedaywhichis knownto the LORD,neitherdaynornight,but it will comeabout that at eveningtimethere will be light.
Whatare you, O greatmountain?BeforeZerubbabel[you will become] a plain;and he will bringforththe topstonewith shoutsof "Grace,graceto it!"'"
He stoodand surveyedthe earth;He lookedand startledthe nations.Yes, the perpetualmountainswere shattered,The ancienthillscollapsed.His waysare everlasting.
and behold,the gloryof the Godof Israelwas comingfrom the wayof the east.And His voicewas like the soundof manywaters;and the earthshonewith His glory.
"TrulyI sayto you, whoeversaysto thismountain,'Be takenup and castinto the sea,'and does not doubtin his heart,but believesthat whathe saysis going to happen,it will be [granted] him.
"The fishof the sea,the birdsof the heavens,the beastsof the field,allthe creepingthingsthat creepon the earth,and allthe menwhoare on the faceof the earthwill shakeat My presence;the mountainsalso will be throwndown,the steeppathwayswill collapseand everywallwill fallto the ground.
And in that daylivingwaterswill flowout of Jerusalem,halfof them towardthe easternseaand the other halftowardthe westernsea;it will be in summeras well as in winter.
And Davidwentup the ascentof the [Mount of] Olives,and weptas he went,and his headwas coveredand he walkedbarefoot.Then allthe peoplewhowere with him eachcoveredhis headand wentup weepingas they went.
