Thenthe third[angel] pouredout his bowlinto the riversand the springsof waters;and they becameblood.
And turnedtheir riversto blood,And their streams,they could not drink.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Sayto Aaron,Stretchout your handwith your staffoverthe rivers,overthe streamsand overthe pools,and make frogscomeup on the landof Egypt.'"
"Whywas therenomanwhen I came?When I called,[why] was therenoneto answer?Is My handsoshortthat it cannotransom?OrhaveI nopowerto deliver?Behold,I dryup the seawith My rebuke,I makethe riversa wilderness;Their fishstinkfor lackof waterAnd dieof thirst.
"I will fillits mountainswith its slain;on your hillsand in your valleysand in allyour ravinesthose slainby the swordwill fall.
Thoughhe flourishesamongthe reeds,An eastwindwill come,The windof the LORDcomingup from the wilderness;And his fountainwill becomedryAnd his springwill be driedup; It will plunder[his] treasuryof everypreciousarticle.
Thesehavethe powerto shutup the sky,sothat rainwill not fallduring the daysof their prophesying;and they havepoweroverthe watersto turnthem into blood,and to strikethe earthwith everyplague,as oftenas they desire.
and he saidwith a loudvoice,"FearGod,and giveHim glory,becausethe hourof His judgmenthas come;worshipHim who madethe heavenand the earthand seaand springsof waters."
And I heardthe angelof the waterssaying,"Righteousare You, who are and whowere, O Holy One,becauseYou judgedthese things;
