But the twowingsof the greateaglewere givento the woman,sothat she could flyinto the wildernessto her place,whereshe was nourishedfor a timeand timesand halfa time,from the presenceof the serpent.
I said,"Oh,that I hadwingslike a dove!I would flyawayand be at rest.
You yourselveshave seenwhatI didto the Egyptians,and [how] I boreyou on eagles'wings,and broughtyou to Myself.
Yet those who waitfor the LORDWill gainnewstrength;They will mountup [with] wingslike eagles,They will runand not gettired,They will walkand not becomeweary.
I heardthe mandressedin linen,whowas abovethe watersof the river,as he raisedhis righthandand his lefttowardheaven,and sworeby Him wholivesforeverthat it would be for a time,times,and half[a [time]; and as soon as they finishshatteringthe powerof the holypeople,allthese[events] will be completed.
He will speakout againstthe MostHighand weardownthe saintsof the HighestOne,and he will intendto makealterationsin timesand in law;and they will be giveninto his handfor a time,times,and halfa time.
He saidto me, "For 2,300evenings[and] mornings;then the holyplace will be properlyrestored."
Thenthe womanfledinto the wildernesswhereshe hada placepreparedby God,sothat thereshe would be nourishedfor one thousandtwo hundredand sixtydays.
And he carried me awayin the Spiritinto a wilderness;and I sawa womansittingon a scarletbeast,fullof blasphemousnames,havingsevenheadsand tenhorns.
