Now theseare the lastwordsof David.Davidthe sonof Jessedeclares,The manwho was raisedon highdeclares,The anointedof the Godof Jacob,And the sweetpsalmistof Israel,
"O LORDGod,do not turnawaythe faceof Your anointed;remember[Your] lovingkindnessto Your servantDavid."
"ThereI will cause the hornof Davidto springforth;I have prepareda lampfor Mine anointed.
Heara justcause,O LORD,giveheedto my cry;Giveearto my prayer,which is not from deceitfullips.
The kingsof the earthtaketheir standAnd the rulerstakecounseltogetherAgainstthe LORDand againstHis Anointed,saying,
"But as for Me, I have installedMy KingUpon Zion,My holymountain."

Do not slaythem, ormy peoplewill forget;Scatterthem by Your power,and bringthem down,O Lord,our shield.
For the LORDGodis a sunand shield;The LORDgivesgraceand glory;Nogoodthingdoes He withholdfrom those who walkuprightly.
