Then Pharaohtookoffhis signetringfrom his handand putit on Joseph'shand,and clothedhim in garmentsof finelinenand putthe goldnecklacearoundhis neck.
AftertheseeventsKingAhasueruspromotedHaman,the sonof Hammedathathe Agagite,and advancedhim and establishedhis authorityoverallthe princeswho[were] with him.

The weightof the goldearringsthat he requestedwas 1,700[shekels] of gold,besidesthe crescentornamentsand the pendantsand the purplerobeswhich[were] on the kingsof Midian,and besidesthe neckbandsthat [were] on their camels'necks.
