ThusI have seenYou in the sanctuary,To seeYour powerand Your glory.
Seekthe LORDand His strength;SeekHis facecontinually.
Liftup your handsto the sanctuaryAnd blessthe LORD.
They shall speakof the gloryof Your kingdomAnd talkof Your power;
OnethingI have askedfrom the LORD,that I shall seek:That I may dwellin the houseof the LORDallthe daysof my life,To beholdthe beautyof the LORDAnd to meditatein His temple.
My tearshave beenmy fooddayand night,While [they] sayto me alldaylong, "Whereis your God?"
Then I will goto the altarof God,To Godmy exceedingjoy;And upon the lyreI shall praiseYou, O God,my God.
For You are not a Godwho takespleasurein wickedness;Noevildwellswith You.
They have seenYour procession,O God,The processionof my God,my King,into the sanctuary.
And gaveup His strengthto captivityAnd His gloryinto the handof the adversary.
Splendorand majestyare beforeHim, Strengthand beautyare in His sanctuary.
"The gloryof Lebanonwill cometo you, The juniper,the boxtreeand the cypresstogether,To beautifythe placeof My sanctuary;And I shall makethe placeof My feetglorious.
"I will fillthe soulof the priestswith abundance,And My peoplewill be satisfiedwith My goodness,"declaresthe LORD.
