Oh,that the salvationof Israelwould come out of Zion!When GodrestoresHis captivepeople,Let Jacobrejoice,let Israelbe glad.
They sang,praisingand givingthanksto the LORD,[saying], "For He is good,for His lovingkindnessis upon Israelforever."And allthe peopleshoutedwith a greatshoutwhen they praisedthe LORDbecausethe foundationof the houseof the LORDwas laid.
and on that daythey offeredgreatsacrificesand rejoicedbecauseGodhad giventhem greatjoy,eventhe womenand childrenrejoiced,so that the joyof Jerusalemwas heardfrom afar.
The LORDrestoredthe fortunesof Jobwhen he prayedfor his friends,and the LORDincreasedallthat Jobhad twofold.
Oh,that the salvationof Israelwould come out of Zion!When the LORDrestoresHis captivepeople,Jacobwill rejoice,Israelwill be glad.
Out of Zion,the perfectionof beauty,Godhas shoneforth.
O LORD,You showedfavorto Your land;You restoredthe captivityof Jacob.
The wickedfleewhen nooneis pursuing,But the righteousare boldas a lion.
Cryaloudand shoutfor joy,O inhabitantof Zion,For greatin your midstis the HolyOneof Israel.
"Howthen will one answerthe messengersof the nation?That the LORDhas foundedZion,And the afflictedof His peoplewill seekrefugein it."
"Thussaysthe LORD,'Behold,I will restorethe fortunesof the tentsof JacobAnd havecompassionon his dwellingplaces;And the citywill be rebuilton its ruin,And the palacewill standon its rightfulplace.
Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,"Once againthey will speakthiswordin the landof Judahand in its citieswhen I restoretheir fortunes,'The LORDblessyou, O abodeof righteousness,O holyhill!'
"For behold,in thosedaysand at that time,WhenI restorethe fortunesof Judahand Jerusalem,
I will setMy faceagainst you so that you will be struckdownbeforeyour enemies;and those who hateyou will ruleover you, and you will fleewhen nooneis pursuingyou.
As for those of you who may be left,I will also bringweaknessinto their heartsin the landsof their enemies.And the soundof a drivenleafwill chasethem, and even when noone is pursuingthey will fleeas thoughfrom the sword,and they will fall.
"Also I will restorethe captivityof My peopleIsrael,And they will rebuildthe ruinedcitiesand live[in them]; They will also plantvineyardsand drinktheir wine,And makegardensand eattheir fruit.
