Like a dreamwhenone awakes,O Lord,when aroused,You will despisetheir form.
The wickedfleewhen nooneis pursuing,But the righteousare boldas a lion.
"For behold,I have madeyou smallamong the nations,Despisedamong men.
They callthem rejectedsilver,Becausethe LORDhas rejectedthem.
And He has violentlytreatedHis tabernaclelike a garden[booth]; He has destroyedHis appointedmeetingplace.The LORDhas caused to be forgottenThe appointedfeastand sabbathin Zion,And He has despisedkingand priestIn the indignationof His anger.
"I will also laythe deadbodiesof the sonsof Israelin frontof their idols;and I will scatteryour bonesaroundyour altars.
I will setMy faceagainst you so that you will be struckdownbeforeyour enemies;and those who hateyou will ruleover you, and you will fleewhen nooneis pursuingyou.
As for those of you who may be left,I will also bringweaknessinto their heartsin the landsof their enemies.And the soundof a drivenleafwill chasethem, and even when noone is pursuingthey will fleeas thoughfrom the sword,and they will fall.
And there was a tremblingin the camp,in the field,and among allthe people.Eventhe garrisonand the raiderstrembled,and the earthquakedso that it becamea greattrembling.
