Whomay ascendinto the hillof the LORD?And whomay standin His holyplace?
Now [David] builthousesfor himself in the cityof David;and he prepareda placefor the arkof Godand pitcheda tentfor it.
O LORD,whomay abidein Your tent?Whomay dwellon Your holyhill?
"But as for Me, I have installedMy KingUpon Zion,My holymountain."
How blessedis the one whom You chooseand bringnear[to You] To dwellin Your courts.We will be satisfiedwith the goodnessof Your house,Your holytemple.
You have ascendedon high,You have ledcaptive[Your] captives;You have receivedgiftsamong men,Even [among] the rebelliousalso,that the LORDGodmay dwell[there].
The LORDsaidto me, "Sonof man,markwell,seewith your eyesand hearwith your earsallthat I sayto you concerning allthe statutesof the houseof the LORDand concerning allits laws;and markwellthe entranceof the house,with allexitsof the sanctuary.
Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Noforeigneruncircumcisedin heartand uncircumcisedin flesh,of allthe foreignerswhoare amongthe sonsof Israel,shall enterMy sanctuary.
Then Mosessaidto Aaron,"It is whatthe LORDspoke,saying,By those who comenearMe I will be treatedas holy,And beforeallthe peopleI will be honored.'"So Aaron,therefore, keptsilent.
"Behold,I am going to sendMy messenger,and he will clearthe waybeforeMe. And the Lord,whomyou seek,will suddenlycometo His temple;and the messengerof the covenant,in whomyou delight,behold,He is coming,"saysthe LORDof hosts.
SimonPetersaidto Him, "Lord,whereare You going?"Jesusanswered,"WhereI go,you cannotfollowMe now;but you will followlater."
Jesussaidto her, "Stopclingingto Me, for I have not yetascendedto the Father;but goto My brethrenand sayto them, 'I ascendto My Fatherand your Father,and My Godand your God.'"
Therefore,since we receivea kingdomwhich cannot be shaken,let us showgratitude,by whichwe may offerto Godan acceptableservicewith reverenceand awe;
