Whoever secretlyslandershis neighbor,him I will destroy;Noone who has a haughtylookand an arrogantheartwill I endure.

Haughtyeyesand a proudheart,The lampof the wicked,is sin.
But as for me, I have not hurriedaway from [being] a shepherdafterYou, Norhave I longedfor the woefulday;You Yourselfknowthat the utteranceof my lipsWas in Your presence.
But you, are you seekinggreatthingsfor yourself? Do not seek[them]; for behold,I am going to bringdisasteron allflesh,'declaresthe LORD,but I will giveyour lifeto you as bootyin allthe placeswhereyou may go.'"

Be of the samemindtowardone another;do not be haughtyin mind,but associatewith the lowly.Do not be wisein your own estimation.

but Davidwentbackand forth from Saulto tendhis father'sflockat Bethlehem.
So Saul'sservantsspokethesewordsto David.But Davidsaid,"Is it trivialin your sightto becomethe king'sson-in-law,since I ama poormanand lightlyesteemed?"
