to opentheir eyesso that they may turnfrom darknessto lightand from the dominionof Satanto God,that they may receiveforgivenessof sinsand an inheritanceamongthosewho have been sanctifiedby faithin Me.'
To giveprudenceto the naive,To the youthknowledgeand discretion,
The lawof the LORDis perfect,restoringthe soul;The testimonyof the LORDis sure,makingwisethe simple.
and the base thingsof the worldand the despisedGodhas chosen,the things that are not, sothat He may nullifythe things that are,
The LORDwill goforthlike a warrior,He will arouse[His] zeallike a manof war.He will uttera shout,yes,He will raisea warcry.He will prevailagainstHis enemies.
"Whoeveris naive,let him turnin here!"To him wholacksunderstandingshe says,
Payheed,you senselessamong the people;And whenwill you understand,stupidones?
"For the waywardnessof the naivewill killthem, And the complacencyof foolswill destroythem.
The wisewill inherithonor,But foolsdisplaydishonor.
"To you, O men,I call,And my voiceis to the sonsof men.
"I, wisdom,dwellwith prudence,And I findknowledge[and] discretion.
