But the wisdomfrom aboveis firstpure,thenpeaceable,gentle,reasonable,fullof mercyand goodfruits,unwavering,without hypocrisy.
For the LORDGodis a sunand shield;The LORDgivesgraceand glory;Nogoodthingdoes He withholdfrom those who walkuprightly.
The wordsof the LORDare purewords;As silvertriedin a furnaceon the earth,refinedseventimes.
But You, O LORD,are a shieldaboutme, My glory,and the One who liftsmy head.
Your wordis verypure,Therefore Your servantlovesit.
I will sayto the LORD,"My refugeand my fortress,My God,in whom I trust!"
Afterthesethingsthe wordof the LORDcameto Abramin a vision,saying,"Do not fear,Abram,I am a shieldto you; Your rewardshall be verygreat."
So then,the Lawis holy,and the commandmentis holyand righteousand good.
My lovingkindnessand my fortress,My strongholdand my deliverer,My shieldand He in whom I takerefuge,Who subduesmy peopleunderme.
The preceptsof the LORDare right,rejoicingthe heart;The commandmentof the LORDis pure,enlighteningthe eyes.
