Wealth[obtained] by frauddwindles,But the one who gathersby laborincreases[it].
The lightof the righteousrejoices,But the lampof the wickedgoesout.
The beginningof strifeis [like] lettingout water,So abandonthe quarrelbeforeit breaksout.
Listento counseland acceptdiscipline,That you may be wisethe restof your days.
Prepareplansby consultation,And makewarby wiseguidance.

An arrogantman stirsup strife,But he who trustsin the LORDwill prosper.
And there arosealsoa disputeamongthem [as to] whichone of them was regardedto be greatest.
he is conceited[and] understandsnothing;but he has a morbid interestin controversial questionsand disputes about words,out of whichariseenvy,strife,abusive language,evilsuspicions,
Whatis the sourceof quarrelsand conflictsamongyou? Is not the sourceyour pleasuresthat wage warin your members?
Allwho saw[it] said,"Nothinglike thishas [ever] happenedor been seenfrom the daywhen the sonsof Israelcameup from the landof Egyptto thisday.Considerit, takecounseland speakup!"
