The righteousnessof the blamelesswill smoothhis way,But the wickedwill fallby his own wickedness.
His own iniquitieswill capturethe wicked,And he will be heldwith the cordsof his sin.
The integrityof the uprightwill guidethem, But the crookednessof the treacherouswill destroythem.

A manwill not be establishedby wickedness,But the rootof the righteouswill not be moved.
A wickedmandisplaysa boldface,But as for the upright,he makeshis waysure.

Righteousnessguardsthe one whose wayis blameless,But wickednesssubvertsthe sinner.
The wickedis thrustdownby his wrongdoing,But the righteoushasa refugewhen he dies.
The wayof the lazyis as a hedgeof thorns,But the pathof the uprightis a highway.
He who walksblamelesslywill be delivered,But he who is crookedwill fallallat once.
The wayof the righteousis smooth;O UprightOne,makethe pathof the righteouslevel.
Moreover, the prideof Israeltestifiesagainsthim, And Israeland Ephraimstumblein their iniquity;Judahalsohas stumbledwith them.
