To grantthose who mourn[in] Zion,Givingthem a garlandinsteadof ashes,The oilof gladnessinsteadof mourning,The mantleof praiseinsteadof a spiritof fainting.So they will be calledoaksof righteousness,The plantingof the LORD,that He may be glorified.
"Cometo Me, allwho are wearyand heavy-laden,and I will give you rest.
And He tookwith Him Peterand the twosonsof Zebedee,and beganto be grievedand distressed.
ThenPaulanswered,"Whatare you doing,weepingand breakingmy heart?For I amreadynot onlyto be bound,but evento dieat Jerusalemfor the nameof the LordJesus."
For I longto seeyou sothat I may impartsomespiritualgiftto you, that you may be established;
Rejoicewith those who rejoice,and weepwith those who weep.
that I have greatsorrowand unceasinggriefin my heart.
And ifonemembersuffers,allthe memberssufferwith it; if[one] memberis honored,allthe membersrejoicewith it.
while they also,by prayeron your behalf,yearnfor you becauseof the surpassinggraceof Godin you.
Bearone another'sburdens,and therebyfulfillthe lawof Christ.
ThereforeI askyou not to lose heartat my tribulationson your behalf,for they are your glory.
I thankmy Godin allmy remembranceof you,

But I thoughtit necessaryto sendto you Epaphroditus,my brotherand fellow workerand fellow soldier,who is alsoyour messengerand ministerto my need;
For indeedhe was sickto the pointof death,but Godhad mercyon him, and not on him onlybut alsoon me, sothat I would not havesorrowupon sorrow.
Therefore,my belovedbrethrenwhom I long[to see], my joyand crown,in this waystand firmin the Lord,my beloved.
In thisyou greatly rejoice,even though nowfor a little while,ifnecessary,you have been distressedby varioustrials,
