And Jesuscameup and spoketo them, saying,"Allauthorityhas been givento Me in heavenand on earth.
And whenHe againbringsthe firstborninto the world,He says,"AND LET ALLTHE ANGELSOF GODWORSHIPHIM."
For thisreasonI bowmy kneesbeforethe Father,
the twenty-fourelderswill fall downbeforeHim who sitson the throne,and will worshipHim who livesforeverand ever,and will casttheir crownsbeforethe throne,saying,
with a viewto an administrationsuitableto the fullnessof the times,[that is], the summingup of all thingsin Christ,things in the heavensand things on the earth.In Him
And after twistingtogether a crownof thorns,they putit on His head,and a reedin His right hand;and they knelt downbeforeHim and mockedHim, saying,"Hail,Kingof the Jews!"
And the seagaveup the deadwhich were in it, and deathand Hadesgaveup the deadwhich were in them; and they were judged,every one[of them] accordingto their deeds.
(Nowthis[expression], "He ascended,"whatdoes it meanexceptthat He alsohad descendedinto the lowerpartsof the earth?
But whatis the divine responseto him? "I HAVE KEPTfor MyselfSEVEN THOUSANDMENWHOHAVE NOT BOWEDTHE KNEETO BAAL."
for justas JONAHWAS THREEDAYSAND THREENIGHTSIN THE BELLYOF THE SEA MONSTER,sowill the Sonof Manbe threedaysand threenightsin the heartof the earth.
He had him ridein his secondchariot;and they proclaimedbeforehim, "Bowthe knee!"And he sethim overallthe landof Egypt.
Come,let us worshipand bowdown,Let us kneelbeforethe LORDour Maker.
And no onein heavenoron the earthorunderthe earthwas ableto openthe bookorto lookinto it.
