Your arrowsare sharp;The peoplesfallunderYou; [Your arrows are] in the heartof the King'senemies.

The kingthen gaveorders,and they broughtthosemenwhohad maliciouslyaccusedDaniel,and they castthem, their childrenand their wivesinto the lions'den;and they had not reachedthe bottomof the denbeforethe lionsoverpoweredthem and crushedalltheir bones.
"Onlydo not rebelagainst the LORD;and do not fearthe peopleof the land,for they will be our prey.Their protectionhas been removedfrom them, and the LORDis with us; do not fearthem."
