"For our kings,our leaders,our priestsand our fathershave not keptYour lawOr paidattentionto Your commandmentsand Your admonitionswith whichYou have admonishedthem.
I shall makementionof the lovingkindnessesof the LORD,the praisesof the LORD,Accordingto allthat the LORDhas grantedus, And the greatgoodnesstoward the houseof Israel,WhichHe has grantedthem according to His compassionAnd according to the abundanceof His lovingkindnesses.
"It shall comeabout whenthey say,'Whyhas the LORDour Goddoneallthesethingsto us?' then you shall sayto them, 'As you have forsakenMe and servedforeigngodsin your land,soyou will servestrangersin a landthat is not yours.'

therefore you shall serveyour enemieswhomthe LORDwill sendagainst you, in hunger,in thirst,in nakedness,and in the lackof allthings;and He will putan ironyokeon your neckuntilHe has destroyedyou.
"Then it shall comeabout, whenmanyevilsand troubleshave comeupon them, that thissongwill testifybeforethem as a witness(for it shall not be forgottenfrom the lipsof their descendants);for I knowtheir intentwhichthey are developingtoday,beforeI have broughtthem into the landwhichI swore."
