[It will be] a dayfor buildingyour walls.On that daywill your boundarybe extended.
Then I saidto them, "You seethe badsituationwe are in, that Jerusalemis desolateand its gatesburnedby fire.Come,let us rebuildthe wallof Jerusalemsothat we will nolongerbe a reproach."
and a letterto Asaphthe keeperof the king'sforest,that he may giveme timberto makebeamsfor the gatesof the fortresswhichis by the temple,for the wallof the cityand for the houseto whichI will go."And the kinggranted[them] to me because the goodhandof my God[was] on me.
Now Tobiahthe Ammonite[was] nearhim and he said,"Evenwhatthey are building--ifa foxshould jumpon [it], he would breaktheir stonewalldown!"
So we builtthe walland the wholewallwas joinedtogetherto halfits [height], for the peoplehada mindto work.
"O afflictedone,storm-tossed,[and] not comforted,Behold,I will setyour stonesin antimony,And your foundationsI will layin sapphires.
"Enlargethe placeof your tent;Stretchout the curtainsof your dwellings,sparenot; Lengthenyour cordsAnd strengthenyour pegs.
"Those from among you will rebuildthe ancientruins;You will raiseup the age-oldfoundations;And you will be calledthe repairerof the breach,The restorerof the streetsin which to dwell.
Then they will rebuildthe ancientruins,They will raiseup the formerdevastations;And they will repairthe ruinedcities,The desolationsof manygenerations.
"So you are to knowand discern[that] from the issuingof a decreeto restoreand rebuildJerusalemuntilMessiahthe Prince[there will be] sevenweeksand sixty-twoweeks;it will be builtagain,with plazaand moat,even in timesof distress.
