Therefore the LORDbroughtthe commandersof the armyof the kingof Assyriaagainstthem, and they capturedManassehwith hooks,boundhim with bronze[chains] and tookhim to Babylon.
"Aftermy wordsthey did not speakagain,And my speechdroppedon them.
Your peoplewill volunteerfreelyin the dayof Your power;In holyarray,from the wombof the dawn,Your youthare to You [as] the dew.
May he comedownlike rainupon the mowngrass, Like showersthat waterthe earth.
The peopleswill takethem along and bringthem to their place,and the houseof Israelwill possessthem as an inheritancein the landof the LORDas maleservantsand femaleservants;and they will taketheir captorscaptiveand will ruleover their oppressors.
to breakAssyriain My land,and I will tramplehim on My mountains.Then his yokewill be removedfrom them and his burdenremovedfrom their shoulder.
Woeto you, O destroyer,While you were not destroyed;And he who is treacherous,while [others] did not dealtreacherouslywith him. As soon as you finishdestroying,you will be destroyed;As soon as you ceaseto dealtreacherously,[others] will dealtreacherouslywith you.
Then the angelof the LORDwentout and struck185000in the campof the Assyrians;and when men aroseearlyin the morning,behold,allof these were dead.
So Sennacheribkingof Assyriadepartedand returned[home] and livedat Nineveh.
"Yetthere will be a tenthportionin it, And it will againbe [subject] to burning,Like a terebinthor an oakWhosestumpremains whenit is felled.The holyseedis its stump."
Are thereanyamong the idolsof the nationswho giverain?Orcan the heavensgrantshowers?Is it not You, O LORDour God?Therefore we hopein You, For You are the one who has doneallthesethings.

And He will stretchout His handagainstthe northAnd destroyAssyria,And He will makeNineveha desolation,Parchedlike the wilderness.
