Jesussaidto him, "The foxeshaveholesand the birdsof the air[have] nests,but the Sonof Manhasnowhereto layHis head."
Besidethem the birdsof the heavensdwell;They liftup [their] voicesamongthe branches.
Wherethe birdsbuildtheir nests,[And] the stork,whose homeis the firtrees.
For I am afflictedand needy,And my heartis woundedwithinme.
Since I am afflictedand needy,Let the Lordbe mindfulof me. You are my helpand my deliverer;Do not delay,O my God.
But I am afflictedand in pain;May Your salvation,O God,setme [securely] on high.
The birdalsohas founda house,And the swallowa nestfor herself, whereshe may layher young,Even Your altars,O LORDof hosts,My Kingand my God.
"I keptlookingin the nightvisions,And behold,with the cloudsof heavenOne like a Sonof Manwas coming,And He cameup to the Ancientof DaysAnd was presentedbeforeHim.
"Whoeverspeaksa wordagainstthe Sonof Man,it shall be forgivenhim; but whoeverspeaksagainstthe HolySpirit,it shall not be forgivenhim, eitherin thisageorin the [age] to come.
for justas JONAHWAS THREEDAYSAND THREENIGHTSIN THE BELLYOF THE SEA MONSTER,sowill the Sonof Manbe threedaysand threenightsin the heartof the earth.
"For the Sonof Manis Lordof the Sabbath."
And He said,"The one who sowsthe goodseedis the Sonof Man,
Nowwhen Jesuscameinto the districtof CaesareaPhilippi,He was askingHis disciples,"Whodo peoplesaythat the Sonof Manis?"
"For the Sonof Manis goingto comein the gloryof His Fatherwith His angels,and WILL THENREPAYEVERY MANACCORDINGTO HIS DEEDS.
As they were coming downfrom the mountain,Jesuscommandedthem, saying, "Tellthe visionto no oneuntilthe Sonof Manhas risenfrom the dead."
And Jesussaidto them, "TrulyI sayto you, that you who have followedMe, in the regenerationwhenthe Sonof Manwill siton His gloriousthrone,you alsoshall situpon twelvethrones,judgingthe twelvetribesof Israel.
"For whoeveris ashamedof Me and My wordsin thisadulterousand sinfulgeneration,the Sonof Manwill alsobe ashamedof him whenHe comesin the gloryof His Fatherwith the holyangels."
"And I sayto you, everyonewhoconfessesMe beforemen,the Sonof Manwill confesshim alsobeforethe angelsof God;
"I tellyou that He will bring aboutjusticefor them quickly.However,when the Sonof Mancomes,will He findfaithon the earth?"
"This[will be] a signfor you: you will finda babywrapped in clothsand lyingin a manger."
Sothey camein a hurryand found their wayto Maryand Joseph,and the babyas He layin the manger.
And she gave birthto her firstbornson;and she wrapped Him in cloths,and laidHim in a manger,becausethere was noroomfor them in the inn.
"But keep on the alertat alltimes,prayingthat you may have strengthto escapeallthese thingsthat are aboutto take place,and to standbeforethe Sonof Man."
and Joannathe wifeof Chuza,Herod'ssteward,and Susanna,and manyotherswhowere contributing to their supportout of their private means.
And Jesussaidto him, "The foxeshaveholesand the birdsof the air[have] nests,but the Sonof Manhasnowhereto layHis head."
And He saidto him, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, you will seethe heavensopenedand the angelsof Godascendingand descendingon the Sonof Man."
The crowdthenansweredHim, "We have heardout of the Lawthat the Christis to remainforever;and howcan You say,The Sonof Manmustbe liftedup'? Whois thisSonof Man?"
Thereforewhenhe had goneout, Jesussaid,"Nowis the Sonof Manglorified,and Godis glorifiedin Him;
"No onehas ascendedinto heaven,but He who descendedfrom heaven:the Sonof Man.
"As Mosesliftedup the serpentin the wilderness,even somustthe Sonof Manbe liftedup;
"Do not workfor the foodwhich perishes,but for the foodwhich enduresto eternallife,whichthe Sonof Manwill giveto you, for on Him the Father,God,has set His seal."
SoJesussaidto them, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, unlessyou eatthe fleshof the Sonof Manand drinkHis blood,you havenolifein yourselves.
"[What] thenifyou seethe Sonof Manascendingto whereHe was before?
and he said,"Behold,I seethe heavensopenedup and the Sonof Manstandingat the right handof God."
For you knowthe graceof our LordJesusChrist,that though He was rich,yet for your sakeHe becamepoor,sothat you through His povertymight become rich.
