ThenJesussaidto her, "Owoman,your faithis great;it shall be donefor you as you wish."And her daughterwas healedat once.
"ThoughHe slayme, I will hopein Him. NeverthelessI will arguemy waysbeforeHim.
"But He knowsthe wayI take;[When] He has triedme, I shall comeforthas gold.
He will fulfillthe desireof those who fearHim; He will also heartheir cryand will savethem.
For ifHe causesgrief,Then He will havecompassionAccording to His abundantlovingkindness.
ImmediatelyJesusstretchedout His handand took holdof him, and saidto him, "You of little faith,whydid you doubt?"
But she said,"Yes,Lord;but eventhe dogsfeedon the crumbswhich fallfrom their masters'table."
Nowwhen Jesusheard[this], He marveledand saidto thosewho were following,"TrulyI sayto you, I have not foundsuch greatfaithwith anyonein Israel.
And Jesussaidto the centurion,"Go;it shall be donefor you as you have believed."And the servantwas healedthat [very] moment.
But Jesusturningand seeingher said,"Daughter,take courage;your faithhas madeyou well."At oncethe womanwas made well.
And He saidto her, "Daughter,your faithhas made you well;goin peaceand be healedof your affliction."
The apostlessaidto the Lord,"Increaseour faith!"
And He saidto the woman,"Your faithhas savedyou; goin peace."
Nowwhen Jesusheardthis,He marveledat him, and turnedand saidto the crowdthat was followingHim, "I sayto you, not evenin Israelhave I foundsuch greatfaith."
We oughtalwaysto give thanksto Godfor you, brethren,as is [only] fitting,becauseyour faithis greatly enlarged,and the loveof eachoneof you towardone anothergrows [ever] greater;
"Thereforethe LORDGodof Israeldeclares,I did indeedsaythat your houseand the houseof your fathershould walkbeforeMe forever;but nowthe LORDdeclares,'Farbe it from Me-- for those who honorMe I will honor,and those who despiseMe will be lightlyesteemed.
