Jesussaidto them, "Is thisnot the reasonyou are mistaken,that you do not understandthe Scripturesorthe powerof God?
"Is anythingtoodifficultfor the LORD?At the appointedtimeI will returnto you, at thistimenextyear,and Sarahwill have a son."
He will swallowup deathfor alltime,And the LordGODwill wipetearsawayfrom allfaces,And He will removethe reproachof His peoplefrom allthe earth;For the LORDhas spoken.
Your deadwill live;Their corpseswill rise.You who liein the dust,awakeand shoutfor joy,For your dew[is as] the dewof the dawn,And the earthwill givebirthto the departedspirits.
To the lawand to the testimony!Ifthey do not speakaccording to thisword,it is becausethey havenodawn.
AhLordGOD!Behold,You have madethe heavensand the earthby Your greatpowerand by Your outstretchedarm!Nothingis toodifficultfor You,
"Manyof those whosleepin the dustof the groundwill awake,theseto everlastinglife,but the othersto disgrace[and] everlastingcontempt.
Shall I ransomthem from the powerof Sheol?Shall I redeemthem from death?O Death,whereare your thorns?O Sheol,whereis your sting?Compassionwill be hiddenfrom My sight.
"He will reviveus aftertwo days;He will raiseus up on the thirdday,That we may livebeforeHim.
For I delightin loyaltyratherthansacrifice,And in the knowledgeof Godratherthanburntofferings.
Though I wrotefor him tenthousand[precepts] of My law,They are regardedas a strangething.
But Jesusansweredand saidto them, "You are mistaken,not understandingthe Scripturesnorthe powerof God.
Lookingat them, Jesussaid,"With peopleit is impossible,but not with God;for all thingsare possiblewith God."
"In the resurrection,whenthey rise again,whichone'swifewill she be? For allsevenhadmarried her."
"For whenthey risefrom the dead,they neithermarrynorare given in marriage,but are likeangelsin heaven.
"For nothingwill be impossiblewith God."
For as yetthey did not understandthe Scripture,that He mustrise againfrom the dead.
"You searchthe Scripturesbecauseyou thinkthat in them you haveeternallife;it is thesethat testifyaboutMe;
Nowthesewere more noble-mindedthan thosein Thessalonica,for they receivedthe wordwith greateagerness,examiningthe Scripturesdaily[to see] whetherthese thingswere so.
For whateverwas written in earlier timeswas writtenfor our instruction,sothat throughperseveranceand the encouragementof the Scriptureswe might havehope.
and whatis the surpassinggreatnessof His powertowardus who believe.[These are] in accordancewith the workingof the strengthof His might
whowill transformthe bodyof our humble stateinto conformitywith the bodyof His glory,by the exertionof the power that He hasevento subjectall thingsto Himself.
