"But the one who has heardand has not acted[accordingly], is likea manwho builta houseon the groundwithoutany foundation;and the torrentburst againstit and immediatelyit collapsed,and the ruinof that housewas great."
He who walksblamelesslywill be delivered,But he who is crookedwill fallallat once.
"They cometo you as peoplecome,and sitbeforeyou [as] My peopleand hearyour words,but they do not dothem, for they dothe lustfuldesires[expressed] by their mouth,[and] their heartgoesaftertheir gain.
I will not punishyour daughterswhenthey playthe harlotOr your brideswhenthey commitadultery,For [the men] themselvesgoapartwith harlotsAnd offersacrificeswith templeprostitutes;So the peoplewithoutunderstandingare ruined.
thereforeallthat they tellyou, doand observe,but do not doaccordingto their deeds;for they say[things] and do not do[them].
"At that timemanywill fall awayand will betrayoneanotherand hateone another.
and they haveno[firm] rootin themselves,but are [only] temporary;then,when afflictionorpersecutionarisesbecauseof the word,immediatelythey fall away.
"And that slavewho knewhis master'swilland did not get readyoractin accordwith his will, willreceivemanylashes,
"But his citizenshatedhim and senta delegationafterhim, saying,'We do not wantthis manto reignoverus.'
"But theseenemiesof mine,who did not wantme to reignoverthem, bringthem hereand slaythem in my presence."

WhenHe had completedallHis discoursein the hearingof the people,He wentto Capernaum.
"Everybranchin Me that does not bearfruit,He takes away;and every[branch] that bearsfruit,He prunesit sothat it may bearmorefruit.
"I knowthat aftermy departuresavagewolveswill comein amongyou, not sparingthe flock;
"And as I punishedthem oftenin allthe synagogues,I tried to forcethem to blaspheme;and being furiouslyenragedat them, I kept pursuingthem evento foreigncities.
For thisreason,when I could endure[it] no longer,I alsosentto findout about your faith,for fearthat the temptermight have temptedyou, and our laborwould be in vain.
For if,after they have escapedthe defilementsof the worldby the knowledgeof the Lordand SaviorJesusChrist,they are againentangledin them and are overcome,the laststate has becomeworsefor them than the first.
They wentout from us, but they were not [really] of us; for ifthey had beenof us, they would have remainedwith us; but [they went out], sothat it would be shownthat they allare not of us.
