And Peterrememberedthe wordwhich Jesushad said,"Beforea roostercrows,you will denyMe three times."And he wentout and weptbitterly.
"Blessedare thosewho mourn,for they shall be comforted.
Immediatelya roostercroweda second time.And PeterrememberedhowJesushad madethe remarkto him, "Beforea roostercrowstwice,you will denyMe three times."And he began to weep.
The Lordturnedand lookedat Peter.And Peterrememberedthe wordof the Lord,howHe had toldhim, "Beforea roostercrowstoday,you will denyMe three times."
Now the menwho were holding Jesus in custodywere mockingHim and beatingHim,
Thereforelet him who thinkshe standstake heedthat he does not fall.
