ThenHe tookthe twelveasideand saidto them, "Behold,we are goingup to Jerusalem,and all thingswhich are writtenthroughthe prophetsabout the Sonof Manwill be accomplished.
"Then afterthe sixty-twoweeksthe Messiahwill be cutoffand havenothing,and the peopleof the princewho is to comewill destroythe cityand the sanctuary.And its end[will come] with a flood;even to the endthere will be war;desolationsare determined.
"Awake,O sword,againstMy Shepherd,And againstthe man,My Associate,"Declaresthe LORDof hosts."Strikethe Shepherdthat the sheepmay be scattered;And I will turnMy handagainstthe littleones.
From that timeJesusbeganto showHis disciplesthat He mustgoto Jerusalem,and suffermany thingsfrom the eldersand chief priestsand scribes,and be killed,and be raisedup on the thirdday.
and said,"Sir,we rememberthat when He was stillalivethat deceiversaid,AfterthreedaysI [am to] rise again.'
Aboutfour thousandwere [there]; and He sent them away.
Jesusrepliedand said,"A manwas going downfrom Jerusalemto Jericho,and fell amongrobbers,and they strippedhim and beathim, and went awayleavinghim half dead.
saying,"The Sonof Manmustsuffermany thingsand be rejectedby the eldersand chief priestsand scribes,and be killedand be raisedup on the thirdday."
Whenthe dayswere approachingfor His ascension,He was determinedto goto Jerusalem;
