As He entereda village,tenleprousmenwhostoodat a distancemetHim;
"Therefore, the leprosyof Naamanshall clingto you and to your descendantsforever."So he wentout from his presencea leper[as white] as snow.
Now there were fourleprousmenat the entranceof the gate;and they saidto oneanother,"Whydo we sithereuntilwe die?
Then He said,"Putyour handinto your bosomagain."So he puthis handinto his bosomagain,and when he tookit out of his bosom,behold,it was restoredlike [the rest of] his flesh.
But the LORDsaidto Moses,"If her fatherhad but spitin her face,would she not bearher shamefor sevendays?Let her be shutup for sevendaysoutsidethe camp,and afterwardshe may be receivedagain."
"But the tax collector,standingsome distance away,was evenunwillingto liftup his eyesto heaven,but was beatinghis breast,saying,'God,be mercifulto me, the sinner!'
WhileHe was in oneof the cities,behold,[there was] a mancoveredwith leprosy;and when he sawJesus,he fellon his faceand imploredHim, saying,"Lord,ifYou are willing,You canmake me clean."
