And the Lordsaid,"Whothenis the faithfuland sensiblesteward,whomhis masterwill put in chargeof his servants,to givethem their rationsat the proper time?
And allthe skillfulmenwho were performingallthe workof the sanctuarycame,eachfrom the workwhichhe was performing,
A manwill be praisedaccordingto his insight,But one of perversemindwill be despised.
A manhas joyin an aptanswer,And howdelightfulis a timelyword!
He who tendsthe figtreewill eatits fruit,And he who caresfor his masterwill be honored.
She risesalso while it is stillnightAnd givesfoodto her householdAnd portionsto her maidens.
The LordGODhas givenMe the tongueof disciples,That I may knowhow to sustainthe wearyonewith a word.He awakens[Me] morningby morning,He awakensMy earto listenas a disciple.
"I will also raiseup shepherdsoverthem and they will tendthem; and they will not be afraidanylonger,norbe terrified,norwill any be missing,"declaresthe LORD.
"You eatthe fatand clotheyourselveswith the wool,you slaughterthe fat[sheep] withoutfeedingthe flock.
And Jesus saidto them, "Thereforeeveryscribewho has become a discipleof the kingdomof heavenis likea head of a household,whobringsout of his treasurethings newand old."
"When eveningcame,the ownerof the vineyardsaidto his foreman,'Callthe laborersand paythem their wages,beginningwith the last[group] to the first.'
"Blessedis that slavewhomhis masterfindssodoingwhen he comes.
When the Lordsawher, He felt compassionfor her, and saidto her, "Do not weep."
Summoningtwoof his disciples,Johnsentthem to the Lord,saying,"Are You the ExpectedOne, ordo we lookfor someone else?"
"Be on guardfor yourselvesand for allthe flock,amongwhichthe HolySpirithas madeyou overseers,to shepherdthe churchof GodwhichHe purchasedwith His ownblood.
but in caseI am delayed,[I write] sothat you will knowhowone oughtto conducthimself in the householdof God,whichis the churchof the livingGod,the pillarand supportof the truth.
The elderswho rulewellare to be considered worthyof doublehonor,especiallythosewho work hardat preachingand teaching.
preachthe word;be readyin season[and] out of season;reprove,rebuke,exhort,with greatpatienceand instruction.
For the overseermustbe above reproachas God'ssteward,not self-willed,not quick-tempered,not addicted to wine,not pugnacious,not fond of sordid gain,
Obeyyour leadersand submit[to them], for they keep watchoveryour soulsas those who will givean account.Let them dothiswith joyand not with grief,for thiswould be unprofitablefor you.
Rememberthosewho ledyou, whospokethe wordof Godto you; and consideringthe resultof their conduct,imitatetheir faith.
NowMoseswas faithfulin allHis houseas a servant,for a testimonyof thosethings which were to be spokenlater;
As each onehas receiveda [special] gift,employ it in servingone anotheras goodstewardsof the manifoldgraceof God.
