But ifhe cannotafforda lamb,then he shall bringto the LORDhis guiltofferingfor that in whichhe has sinned,twoturtledovesortwoyoungpigeons,onefor a sinofferingand the otherfor a burntoffering.
When the daysof her purificationare completed,for a sonorfor a daughter,she shall bringto the priestat the doorwayof the tentof meetinga one yearoldlambfor a burntofferingand a youngpigeonora turtledovefor a sinoffering.
But ifshe cannotafforda lamb,then she shall taketwoturtledovesortwoyoungpigeons,the onefor a burntofferingand the otherfor a sinoffering;and the priestshall makeatonementfor her, and she will be clean.'"
"He shall then offeroneof the turtledovesoryoungpigeons,whichare withinhis means.
"[He shall offer] whathe can afford,the onefor a sinofferingand the otherfor a burntoffering,togetherwith the grain offering.So the priestshall makeatonementbeforethe LORDon behalfof the one to be cleansed.
The priestshall offerthe onefor a sinofferingand the otherfor a burntoffering.So the priestshall makeatonementon her behalfbeforethe LORDbecauseof her impuredischarge.'
"He shall takefrom the congregationof the sonsof Israeltwomalegoatsfor a sinofferingand oneramfor a burntoffering.
But ifhe is poorerthanyour valuation,then he shall be placedbeforethe priestand the priestshall valuehim; accordingto the meansof the one who vowed,the priestshall valuehim.
But ifhis meansare insufficientfor twoturtledovesortwoyoungpigeons,then for his offeringfor that whichhe has sinned,he shall bringthe tenthof an ephahof fineflourfor a sinoffering;he shall not putoilon it or placeincenseon it, for it is a sinoffering.
Now thisis the lawof the guiltoffering;it is mostholy.
"Then to the sonsof Israelyou shall speak,saying,'Takea malegoatfor a sinoffering,and a calfand a lamb,both one yearold,withoutdefect,for a burntoffering,
"Speakto the sonsof Israel,Whena manorwomancommitsanyof the sinsof mankind,actingunfaithfullyagainst the LORD,and that personis guilty,
Then on the eighthdayhe shall bringtwoturtledovesortwoyoungpigeonsto the priest,to the doorwayof the tentof meeting.
The priestshall offeronefor a sinofferingand [the] otherfor a burntoffering,and makeatonementfor him concerninghis sinbecauseof the [dead] person.And that samedayhe shall consecratehis head,
"Behold,I sendyou out as sheepin the midstof wolves;sobe shrewdas serpentsand innocentas doves.
And Jesusenteredthe templeand droveout allthosewho were buyingand sellingin the temple,and overturnedthe tablesof the money changersand the seatsof thosewho were sellingdoves.
After being baptized,Jesuscameup immediatelyfrom the water;and behold,the heavenswere opened,and he sawthe Spiritof Goddescendingas a dove[and] lightingon Him,
and to offera sacrificeaccordingto what was saidin the Lawof the Lord,"A PAIROF TURTLEDOVESORTWOYOUNGPIGEONS."
For ifthe readinessis present,it is acceptableaccordingto what [a person] has,not accordingto what he does not have.
