The priestshall also putsomeof the bloodon the hornsof the altarof fragrantincensewhichis beforethe LORDin the tentof meeting;and allthe bloodof the bullhe shall pourout at the baseof the altarof burntofferingwhichis at the doorwayof the tentof meeting.
The LORDis God,and He has givenus light;Bindthe festivalsacrificewith cordsto the hornsof the altar.
"You shall takesomeof the bloodof the bulland put[it] on the hornsof the altarwith your finger;and you shall pourout allthe bloodat the baseof the altar.
He shall slaythe youngbullbeforethe LORD;and Aaron'ssonsthe priestsshall offerup the bloodand sprinklethe bloodaroundon the altarthat is at the doorwayof the tentof meeting.
"Then he shall goout to the altarthat is beforethe LORDand makeatonementfor it, and shall takesomeof the bloodof the bulland of the bloodof the goatand putit on the hornsof the altaron allsides.
He shall putsomeof the bloodon the hornsof the altarwhichis beforethe LORDin the tentof meeting;and allthe bloodhe shall pourout at the baseof the altarof burntofferingwhichis at the doorwayof the tentof meeting.
Then the priestis to takesomeof the bloodof the sinofferingwith his fingerand putit on the hornsof the altarof burntoffering;and [the rest of] its bloodhe shall pourout at the baseof the altarof burntoffering.
The priestshall takesomeof its bloodwith his fingerand putit on the hornsof the altarof burntoffering;and all[the rest of] its bloodhe shall pourout at the baseof the altar.
The priestis to takesomeof the bloodof the sinofferingwith his fingerand putit on the hornsof the altarof burntoffering,and all[the rest of] its bloodhe shall pourout at the baseof the altar.
He shall also sprinklesomeof the bloodof the sinofferingon the sideof the altar,while the restof the bloodshall be drainedout at the baseof the altar:it is a sinoffering.
But nosinofferingof whichanyof the bloodis broughtinto the tentof meetingto makeatonementin the holyplace shall be eaten;it shall be burnedwith fire.
Next Mosesslaughtered[it] and tookthe bloodand with his fingerput[some of it] aroundon the hornsof the altar,and purifiedthe altar.Then he pouredout [the rest of] the bloodat the baseof the altarand consecratedit, to makeatonementfor it.
Aaron'ssonspresentedthe bloodto him; and he dippedhis fingerin the bloodand put[some] on the hornsof the altar,and pouredout [the rest of] the bloodat the baseof the altar.
But nowin ChristJesusyou whoformerlywere far offhave been broughtnearby the bloodof Christ.
For thisreasonHe is the mediatorof a newcovenant,sothat, since a deathhas taken placefor the redemptionof the transgressionsthat were [committed] underthe firstcovenant,thosewho have been calledmay receivethe promiseof the eternalinheritance.
And in the same wayhe sprinkledboththe tabernacleand allthe vesselsof the ministrywith the blood.
Whenthe Lamb brokethe fifthseal,I sawunderneaththe altarthe soulsof thosewho had been slainbecauseof the wordof God,and becauseof the testimonywhichthey had maintained;
