ifthe anointedpriestsinsso as to bringguilton the people,then let him offerto the LORDa bullwithoutdefectas a sinofferingfor the sinhe has committed.
They broughtsevenbulls,sevenrams,sevenlambsand sevenmalegoatsfor a sinofferingfor the kingdom,the sanctuary,and Judah.And he orderedthe priests,the sonsof Aaron,to offer[them] on the altarof the LORD.
The exileswho had comefrom the captivityofferedburntofferingsto the Godof Israel:12bullsfor allIsrael,96rams,77lambs,12malegoatsfor a sinoffering,allas a burntofferingto the LORD.
"But the fleshof the bulland its hideand its refuse,you shall burnwith fireoutsidethe camp;it is a sinoffering.
"Then you shall takesomeof the bloodthat is on the altarand someof the anointingoil,and sprinkle[it] on Aaronand on his garmentsand on his sonsand on his sons'garmentswith him; so he and his garmentsshall be consecrated,as well as his sonsand his sons'garmentswith him.
"Then you shall takethe anointingoiland pourit on his headand anointhim.
"Aaronshall makeatonementon its hornsoncea year;he shall makeatonementon it with the bloodof the sinofferingof atonementoncea yearthroughout your generations.It is mostholyto the LORD."
In the porchof the gate[were] twotableson eachside,on which to slaughterthe burntoffering,the sinofferingand the guiltoffering.
You shall giveto the Leviticalpriestswhoare from the offspringof Zadok,who drawnearto Me to ministerto Me,' declaresthe LordGOD,a youngbullfor a sinoffering.
"On the daythat he goesinto the sanctuary,into the innercourtto ministerin the sanctuary,he shall offerhis sinoffering,"declaresthe LordGOD.
But ifhis offeringis from the flock,of the sheeporof the goats,for a burntoffering,he shall offerit a malewithoutdefect.
Ifhis offeringis a burntofferingfrom the herd,he shall offerit, a malewithoutdefect;he shall offerit at the doorwayof the tentof meeting,that he may be acceptedbeforethe LORD.
"Then Aaronshall offerthe bullof the sinofferingwhichis for himself and makeatonementfor himself and for his household,and he shall slaughterthe bullof the sinofferingwhichis for himself.
"Aaronshall enterthe holyplace with this:with a bullfor a sinofferingand a ramfor a burntoffering.
"He shall takefrom the congregationof the sonsof Israeltwomalegoatsfor a sinofferingand oneramfor a burntoffering.
"Then Aaronshall offerthe bullfor the sinofferingwhichis for himself, that he may makeatonementfor himself and for his household.
when the sinwhichthey have committedbecomesknown,then the assemblyshall offera bullof the herdfor a sinofferingand bringit beforethe tentof meeting.
ifhis sinwhichhe has committedis madeknownto him, he shall bringfor his offeringa goat,a malewithoutdefect.
ifhis sinwhichhe has committedis madeknownto him, then he shall bringfor his offeringa goat,a femalewithoutdefect,for his sinwhichhe has committed.
Then the anointedpriestis to takesomeof the bloodof the bulland bringit to the tentof meeting,
He shall also bringhis guiltofferingto the LORDfor his sinwhichhe has committed,a femalefrom the flock,a lambora goatas a sinoffering.So the priestshall makeatonementon his behalffor his sin.
Everymaleamong the sonsof Aaronmay eatit; it is a permanentordinancethroughout your generations,from the offeringsby fireto the LORD.Whoevertouchesthem will becomeconsecrated.'"
Then he pouredsomeof the anointingoilon Aaron'sheadand anointedhim, to consecratehim.
and he saidto Aaron,"Takefor yourself a calf,a bull,for a sinofferingand a ramfor a burntoffering,[both] withoutdefect,and offer[them] beforethe LORD.
"Then to the sonsof Israelyou shall speak,saying,'Takea malegoatfor a sinoffering,and a calfand a lamb,both one yearold,withoutdefect,for a burntoffering,
But they fellon their facesand said,"O God,Godof the spiritsof allflesh,when onemansins,will You be angrywith the entirecongregation?"
"Then let them takea bullwith its grain offering,fineflourmixedwith oil;and a secondbullyou shall takefor a sinoffering.
For whatthe Lawcouldnot do, weakas it was throughthe flesh,God[did]: sendingHis ownSonin the likenessof sinfulfleshand [as an offering] for sin,He condemnedsinin the flesh,
He madeHim who knewnosin[to be] sinon our behalf,sothat we might becomethe righteousnessof Godin Him.
and becauseof it he is obligatedto offer[sacrifices] for sins,as for the people,soalsofor himself.
and not throughthe bloodof goatsand calves,but throughHis ownblood,He enteredthe holy placeonce for all,having obtainedeternalredemption.
