But ifyou say,"Whatare we going to eaton the seventhyearifwe do not sowor gatherin our crops?"
The royalofficeron whosehandthe kingwas leaningansweredthe manof Godand said,"Behold,if the LORDshould makewindowsin heaven,could thisthingbe?" Then he said,"Behold,you will seeit with your own eyes,but you will not eatof it."
Amaziahsaidto the manof God,"But what[shall we] dofor the hundredtalentswhichI have givento the troopsof Israel?"And the manof Godanswered,"The LORDhasmuchmoreto giveyou thanthis."
Listen,O heavens,and hear,O earth;For the LORDspeaks,"SonsI have rearedand broughtup, But they have revoltedagainst Me.
Then the landwill yieldits produce,so that you can eatyour filland livesecurelyon it.
but during the seventhyearthe landshall havea sabbathrest,a sabbathto the LORD;you shall not sowyour fieldnorpruneyour vineyard.
All of you shall havethe sabbath[products] of the landfor food;yourself, and your maleand femaleslaves,and your hiredmanand your foreignresident,those who liveas alienswith you.
"Wheream I to get meatto giveto allthispeople?For they weepbeforeme, saying,'Giveus meatthat we may eat!'
The rabblewhowere amongthem hadgreedydesires;and alsothe sonsof Israelweptagainand said,"Whowill give us meatto eat?
He saidto them, "Whyare you afraid,you men of little faith?"ThenHe gotup and rebukedthe windsand the sea,and it becameperfectlycalm.
"And do not seekwhatyou will eatand whatyou will drink,and do not keep worrying.
Be anxiousfor nothing,but in everythingby prayerand supplicationwith thanksgivinglet your requestsbe made knownto God.
