"Speakto the sonsof Israeland sayto them, 'Whenyou enterthe landwhichI am going to giveto you and reapits harvest,then you shall bringin the sheafof the firstfruitsof your harvestto the priest.
"You shall not delay[the offering from] your harvestand your vintage.The firstbornof your sonsyou shall giveto Me.
"Also [you shall observe] the Feastof the Harvest[of] the firstfruitsof your labors[from] whatyou sowin the field;also the Feastof the Ingatheringat the endof the yearwhen you gatherin [the fruit of] your laborsfrom the field.
"You shall bringthe choicefirstfruitsof your soilinto the houseof the LORDyour God."You are not to boila younggoatin the milkof its mother.
"You shall celebratethe Feastof Weeks,[that is], the firstfruitsof the wheatharvest,and the Feastof Ingatheringat the turnof the year.
"You shall bringthe very firstof the firstfruitsof your soilinto the houseof the LORDyour God."You shall not boila younggoatin its mother'smilk."
"The firstof allthe firstfruitsof everykind and everycontributionof everykind, from allyour contributions,shall be for the priests;you shall also giveto the priestthe firstof your doughto cause a blessingto reston your house.
"Whenyou enterthe landof Canaan,whichI giveyou for a possession,and I puta markof leprosyon a housein the landof your possession,
He shall wavethe sheafbeforethe LORDfor you to be accepted;on the dayafterthe sabbaththe priestshall waveit.
You shall bringin from your dwellingplacestwo[loaves] of breadfor a waveoffering,made of two-tenths[of an] [ephah]; they shall be of a fineflour,bakedwith leavenas firstfruitsto the LORD.
Then the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,

Also on the dayof the firstfruits,when you presenta newgrain offeringto the LORDin your [Feast of] Weeks,you shall havea holyconvocation;you shall donolaboriouswork.
Ifthe first piece[of dough] is holy,the lumpis also;and ifthe rootis holy,the branchesare too.
"You shall countsevenweeksfor yourself; you shall beginto countsevenweeksfrom the time you beginto put the sickleto the standinggrain.
In the exercise of His willHe brought us forthby the wordof truth,sothat we would be a kindof first fruitsamong His creatures.
and when those who carriedthe arkcameinto the Jordan,and the feetof the priestscarryingthe arkwere dippedin the edgeof the water(for the Jordanoverflowsallits banksallthe daysof harvest),
Theseare the ones who have not been defiledwith women,for they have kept themselveschaste.These[are] the ones who followthe LambwhereverHe goes.Thesehave been purchasedfrom amongmenas first fruitsto Godand to the Lamb.
So Naomireturned,and with her Ruththe Moabitess,her daughter-in-law,who returnedfrom the landof Moab.And they cameto Bethlehemat the beginningof barleyharvest.
