Then her husbandaroseand wentafterher to speaktenderlyto her in order to bringher back,taking with him his servantand a pairof donkeys.So she broughthim into her father'shouse,and when the girl'sfathersawhim, he was gladto meethim.
He was deeplyattractedto Dinahthe daughterof Jacob,and he lovedthe girland spoketenderlyto her.
"Sotherefore, do not be afraid;I will providefor you and your littleones."So he comfortedthem and spokekindlyto them.
[God] says,"Ifa husbanddivorceshis wifeAnd she goesfrom him And belongsto anotherman,Will he stillreturnto her? Will not that landbe completelypolluted?But you are a harlot[with] manylovers;Yet you turnto Me," declaresthe LORD.
"Therefore,behold,I will allureher, Bringher into the wildernessAnd speakkindlyto her.
"It will comeabout in that day,"declaresthe LORD,"That you will callMe IshiAnd will nolongercallMe Baali.
You shall not hateyour fellowcountrymanin your heart;you may surelyreproveyour neighbor,but shall not incursinbecauseof him.
If [there is] a manwhocommitsadulterywith another man'swife,one whocommitsadulterywith his friend'swife,the adultererand the adulteressshall surelybe putto death.
But Godwas angrybecausehe was going,and the angelof the LORDtookhis standin the wayas an adversaryagainst him. Now he was ridingon his donkeyand his twoservantswere with him.
And Josephher husband,beinga righteous manand not wantingto disgraceher, plannedto send her awaysecretly.
She said,"No one,Lord."And Jesussaid,"I do not condemnyou, either.Go.From nowon sinno more.]"
Brethren,evenifanyoneis caughtin anytrespass,you who are spiritual,restoresuch a onein a spiritof gentleness;[each one] lookingto yourself,sothat you toowill not be tempted.
But aftera while,in the timeof wheatharvest,Samsonvisitedhis wifewith a younggoat,and said,"I will goin to my wifein [her] room."But her fatherdid not lethim enter.
But his concubineplayedthe harlotagainsthim, and she wentaway from him to her father'shousein Bethlehemin Judah,and was therefor a periodof fourmonths.
As the daybegan to dawn,the womancameand felldownat the doorwayof the man'shousewhereher masterwas, until[full] daylight.
His father-in-law,the girl'sfather,detainedhim; and he remainedwith him threedays.So they ateand drankand lodgedthere.
