But the sonsof Benjamindid not driveout the Jebusiteswho livedin Jerusalem;so the Jebusiteshave livedwith the sonsof Benjaminin Jerusalemto thisday.
But the manwas not willingto spendthe night,so he aroseand departedand cameto [a place] oppositeJebus(that is, Jerusalem).And there were with him a pairof saddleddonkeys;his concubinealso was with him.
However, his mastersaidto him, "We will not turnasideinto the cityof foreignerswhoare not of the sonsof Israel;but we will goon as faras Gibeah."
"Yet thereis bothstrawand fodderfor our donkeys,and alsobreadand winefor me, your maidservant,and the youngmanwho is with your servants;thereis nolackof anything."
