Theseare their names:Ben-hur,in the hillcountryof Ephraim;
From the topof the mountainthe bordercurvedto the springof the watersof Nephtoahand proceededto the citiesof MountEphron,then the bordercurvedto Baalah(that is, Kiriath-jearim).
They gavethem Shechem,the cityof refugefor the manslayer,with its pasturelands,in the hillcountryof Ephraim,and Gezerwith its pasturelands,
And they buriedhim in the territoryof his inheritancein Timnath-serah,whichis in the hillcountryof Ephraim,on the northof MountGaash.
Now afterAbimelechdied, Tolathe sonof Puah,the sonof Dodo,a manof Issachar,aroseto saveIsrael;and he livedin Shamirin the hillcountryof Ephraim.
Then his brothersand allhis father'shouseholdcamedown,tookhim, broughthim up and buriedhim betweenZorahand Eshtaolin the tombof Manoahhis father.Thus he had judgedIsraeltwentyyears.
He saidto his mother,"The elevenhundred[pieces] of silverwhichwere takenfrom you, about which you uttereda cursein my hearing,behold,the silveris with me; I tookit." And his mothersaid,"Blessedbe my sonby the LORD."
They passedfrom thereto the hillcountryof Ephraimand cameto the houseof Micah.
So the sonsof Dansentfrom their familyfivemenout of their wholenumber,valiantmenfrom Zorahand Eshtaol,to spyout the landand to searchit; and they saidto them, "Go,searchthe land."And they cameto the hillcountryof Ephraim,to the houseof Micah,and lodgedthere.
It cameabout when he had arrived,that he blewthe trumpetin the hillcountryof Ephraim;and the sonsof Israelwentdownwith him from the hillcountry,and he [was] in frontof them.
