and he lookeddowntowardSodomand Gomorrah,and towardallthe landof the valley,and he saw,and behold,the smokeof the landascendedlike the smokeof a furnace.

But when the cloudbeganto risefrom the cityin a columnof smoke,Benjaminlookedbehindthem; and behold,the wholecitywas goingup [in smoke] to heaven.
Then the menof Israelturned,and the menof Benjaminwere terrified;for they sawthat disasterwas closeto them.
