Then the LORDsaidto Joshua,"Stretchout the javelinthat is in your handtowardAi,for I will giveit into your hand."So Joshuastretchedout the javelinthat was in his handtowardthe city.
Becausehe has stretchedout his handagainstGodAnd conductshimself arrogantlyagainstthe Almighty.
"The quiverrattlesagainsthim, The flashingspearand javelin.
"As for you, liftup your staffand stretchout your handoverthe seaand divideit, and the sonsof Israelshall gothroughthe midstof the seaon dryland.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Goto Pharaohand sayto him, 'Thussaysthe LORD,"LetMy peoplego,that they may serveMe.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Sayto Aaron,Stretchout your handwith your staffoverthe rivers,overthe streamsand overthe pools,and make frogscomeup on the landof Egypt.'"
