So Joshuablessedthem and sentthem away,and they wentto their tents.
He blessedhim and said,"Blessedbe Abramof GodMostHigh,Possessorof heavenand earth;
And JacobblessedPharaoh,and wentout from his presence.
Then Josephbroughthis fatherJacoband presentedhim to Pharaoh;and JacobblessedPharaoh.
When Davidhad finishedofferingthe burntofferingand the peaceoffering,he blessedthe peoplein the nameof the LORDof hosts.
Further, he distributedto allthe people,to allthe multitudeof Israel,bothto menand women,a cakeof breadand oneof datesand oneof raisinsto eachone.Then allthe peopledepartedeachto his house.
But when Davidreturnedto blesshis household,Michalthe daughterof Saulcameout to meetDavidand said,"Howthe kingof Israeldistinguishedhimself today!He uncoveredhimself todayin the eyesof his servants'maidsas oneof the foolishonesshamelesslyuncovershimself!"
On the eighthdayhe sentthe peopleawayand they blessedthe king.Then they wentto their tentsjoyfuland gladof heartfor allthe goodnessthat the LORDhad shownto DavidHis servantand to IsraelHis people.
For a multitudeof the people,[even] manyfrom Ephraimand Manasseh,Issacharand Zebulun,had not purifiedthemselves, yetthey atethe Passoverotherwisethan prescribed.For Hezekiahprayedfor them, saying,"May the goodLORDpardon
And Mosesexaminedallthe workand behold,they had doneit; justas the LORDhad commanded,thisthey had done.So Mosesblessedthem.
And Simeonblessedthem and saidto MaryHis mother,"Behold,this[Child] is appointedfor the falland riseof manyin Israel,and for a signto be opposed--
And He ledthem out as faras Bethany,and He liftedup His handsand blessedthem.
So Joshuablessedhim and gaveHebronto Calebthe sonof Jephunnehfor an inheritance.
Then Joshuadismissedthe people,eachto his inheritance.
Then Samueltoldthe peoplethe ordinancesof the kingdom,and wrote[them] in the bookand placed[it] beforethe LORD.And Samuelsentallthe peopleaway,eachoneto his house.
Now Saulchosefor himself 3,000men of Israel,of which 2,000were with Saulin Michmashand in the hillcountryof Bethel,while 1,000were with Jonathanat Gibeahof Benjamin.But he sentawaythe restof the people,eachto his tent.
Then Eliwould blessElkanahand his wifeand say,"May the LORDgiveyou childrenfrom thiswomanin placeof the oneshe dedicatedto the LORD."And they wentto their own home.
