The inheritanceof the sonsof Simeon[was taken] from the portionof the sonsof Judah,for the shareof the sonsof Judahwas toolargefor them; so the sonsof Simeonreceived[an] inheritancein the midstof Judah's inheritance.
"Cursedbe their anger,for it is fierce;And their wrath,for it is cruel.I will dispersethem in Jacob,And scatterthem in Israel.
When they measuredit with an omer,he who hadgathered muchhad noexcess,and he who hadgathered littlehad nolack;everymangatheredas muchas he should eat.
"Besidethe borderof Reuben,from the eastsideto the westside,Judah,one[portion].
"To the larger[group] you shall increasetheir inheritance,and to the smaller[group] you shall diminishtheir inheritance;eachshall be giventheir inheritanceaccordingto those who were numberedof them.
Now the thirdlotcameup for the sonsof Zebulunaccording to their families.And the territoryof their inheritancewas as faras Sarid.
and allthe villageswhich[were] aroundthesecitiesas faras Baalath-beer,Ramahof the Negev.This[was] the inheritanceof the tribeof the sonsof Simeonaccording to their families.
