For dogshave surroundedme; A bandof evildoershas encompassedme; They piercedmy handsand my feet.
In spite of allthisthey stillsinnedAnd did not believein His wonderfulworks.
"He savedothers;He cannotsaveHimself.He is the Kingof Israel;let Him nowcome downfrom the cross,and we will believein Him.
When they heardthat He was aliveand had been seenby her, they refused to believeit.
They went awayand reportedit to the others,but they did not believethem either.
AfterwardHe appearedto the eleventhemselvesas they were reclining[at the table]; and He reproachedthem for their unbeliefand hardness of heart,becausethey had not believedthosewho had seenHim after He had risen.
And He saidto them, "Ofoolish menand slowof heartto believein allthat the prophetshave spoken!
He foundfirsthis ownbrotherSimonand saidto him, "We have foundthe Messiah"(whichtranslatedmeansChrist).
ThenHe saidto Thomas,"Reachherewith your finger,and seeMy hands;and reachhere your handand putit into My side;and do not be unbelieving,but believing."
Thereforethat disciplewhomJesuslovedsaidto Peter,"It is the Lord."Sowhen SimonPeterheardthat it was the Lord,he puthis outer garmenton (for he was stripped[for work]), and threwhimselfinto the sea.
Sothey saidto Him, "Whatthendo You dofor a sign,sothat we may see,and believeYou? Whatwork do You perform?
Take care,brethren,that there not be in any oneof you an evil,unbelievingheartthat falls awayfrom the livingGod.
And to whomdid He swearthat they would not enterHis rest,but to thosewhowere disobedient?
