"But I will removethe northern[army] farfrom you, And I will driveit into a parchedand desolateland,And its vanguardinto the easternsea,And its rearguard into the westernsea.And its stenchwill ariseand its foulsmellwill comeup, For it has donegreatthings."
Then Hazaelsaid,"But whatis your servant,[who is but] a dog,that he should dothisgreatthing?"And Elishaanswered,"The LORDhas shownme that you will be kingoverAram."
The LORDhas donegreatthingsfor us; We are glad.
So the LORDshifted[the wind] to a verystrongwestwindwhich tookup the locustsand drovethem into the RedSea;not onelocustwas leftin allthe territoryof Egypt.
So they piledthem in heaps,and the landbecamefoul.
So their slainwill be thrownout, And their corpseswill giveofftheir stench,And the mountainswill be drenchedwith their blood.
"The eastside,from betweenHauran,Damascus,Gileadand the landof Israel,[shall be] the Jordan;from the [north] borderto the easternseayou shall measure.This is the eastside.
"I senta plagueamong you after the mannerof Egypt;I slewyour youngmenby the swordalongwith your capturedhorses,And I made the stenchof your campriseup in your nostrils;Yet you have not returnedto Me," declaresthe LORD.
And in that daylivingwaterswill flowout of Jerusalem,halfof them towardthe easternseaand the other halftowardthe westernsea;it will be in summeras well as in winter.
"Then I will rebukethe devourerfor you, so that it will not destroythe fruitsof the ground;norwill your vinein the fieldcast[its grapes]," saysthe LORDof hosts.
"Everyplaceon whichthe soleof your foottreadsshall be yours; your borderwill be from the wildernessto Lebanon,[and] from the river,the riverEuphrates,as faras the westernsea.
