"Trulythenyou are the people,And with you wisdomwill die!
Then Jobresponded,
"Whatcounselyou have givento [one] withoutwisdom!What helpfulinsightyou have abundantlyprovided!
"Behold,allof you have seen[it]; Whythendo you actfoolishly?
"Whatis my strength,that I should wait?And whatis my end,that I should endure?
"Is my strengththe strengthof stones,Oris my fleshbronze?
"Is it that my helpis not within me, And that deliveranceis drivenfrom me?
"Howpainfulare honestwords!But whatdoes your argumentprove?
Do not castme offin the timeof oldage;Do not forsakeme when my strengthfails.
With whomdid He consultand [who] gaveHim understanding?And [who] taughtHim in the pathof justiceand taughtHim knowledgeAnd informedHim of the wayof understanding?
