"He wandersabout for food,saying, 'Whereis it?' He knowsthat a dayof darknessis at hand.
"Whenyou cultivatethe ground,it will nolongeryieldits strengthto you; you will be a vagrantand a wandereron the earth."
"He does not believethat he will returnfrom darkness,And he is destinedfor the sword.
"Distressand anguishterrifyhim, They overpowerhim like a kingreadyfor the attack,
"He will not escapefrom darkness;The flamewill witherhis shoots,And by the breathof His mouthhe will goaway.
"His strengthis famished,And calamityis readyat his side.
"He is drivenfrom lightinto darkness,And chasedfrom the inhabitedworld.
Let his childrenwanderabout and beg;And let them seek[sustenance] far from their ruinedhomes.
They wanderabout for foodAnd growlifthey are not satisfied.
But as for me, I shall singof Your strength;Yes, I shall joyfullysingof Your lovingkindnessin the morning,For You have beenmy strongholdAnd a refugein the dayof my distress.
The LORDwill not allow the righteousto hunger,But He will rejectthe cravingof the wicked.
The LORDhas madeeverythingfor its own purpose,Eventhe wickedfor the dayof evil.
Indeed,ifa manshould livemanyyears,let him rejoicein them all,and let him rememberthe daysof darkness,for they will be many.Everythingthat is to come[will be] futility.
We have submittedto Egypt[and] Assyriato getenoughbread.
We getour breadat the risk of our livesBecauseof the swordin the wilderness.
A dayof darknessand gloom,A dayof cloudsand thickdarkness.As the dawnis spreadoverthe mountains,[So] there is a greatand mightypeople;There has neverbeen[anything] likeit, Norwill there be againafterit To the yearsof manygenerations.
[Will] not the dayof the LORD[be] darknessinsteadof light,Even gloomwith nobrightnessin it?
A dayof wrathis that day,A dayof troubleand distress,A dayof destructionand desolation,A dayof darknessand gloom,A dayof cloudsand thickdarkness,
but a terrifyingexpectationof judgmentand THE FURYOF A FIREWHICH WILLCONSUMETHE ADVERSARIES.
