Elijahrepliedto them, "IfI am a manof God,let firecomedownfrom heavenand consumeyou and your fifty."Then the fireof Godcamedownfrom heavenand consumedhim and his fifty.
Then the LORDrainedon Sodomand Gomorrahbrimstoneand firefrom the LORDout of heaven,
He performsgreatsigns,sothat he evenmakesfirecome downout of heavento the earthin the presenceof men.
Thusthe LordGODshowedme, and behold,the LordGODwas callingto contend[with them] by fire,and it consumedthe greatdeepand began to consumethe farmland.

And there was a tremblingin the camp,in the field,and among allthe people.Eventhe garrisonand the raiderstrembled,and the earthquakedso that it becamea greattrembling.
Then firecameout from beforethe LORDand consumedthe burntofferingand the portionsof faton the altar;and when allthe peoplesaw[it], they shoutedand fellon their faces.
"Makesupplicationto the LORD,for there has been enoughof God'sthunderand hail;and I will letyou go,and you shall staynolonger."
