My heartcriesout for Moab;His fugitivesare as faras Zoar[and] Eglath-shelishiyah,For they goup the ascentof Luhithweeping;Surelyon the roadto Horonaimthey raisea cryof distressover [their] ruin.
For the vineyardof the LORDof hostsis the houseof IsraelAnd the menof JudahHis delightfulplant.Thus He lookedfor justice,but behold,bloodshed;For righteousness,but behold,a cryof distress.
But the LORDis the true God;He is the livingGodand the everlastingKing.At His wraththe earthquakes,And the nationscannotendureHis indignation.
The nationshave heardof your shame,And the earthis fullof your cry[of distress]; For one warriorhas stumbledover another,And bothof them have fallendowntogether.

So the landquakesand writhes,For the purposesof the LORDagainstBabylonstand,To makethe landof BabylonA desolationwithoutinhabitants.
The soundof an outcryfrom Babylon,And of greatdestructionfrom the landof the Chaldeans!
Nowthe coastlandswill trembleOn the dayof your fall;Yes, the coastlandswhichare by the seaWill be terrifiedat your passing.'"
