"Thussaysthe LORD,'Justsowill I destroythe prideof Judahand the greatprideof Jerusalem.
I will also breakdownyour prideof power;I will also makeyour skylike ironand your earthlike bronze.
"In that dayyou will feelnoshameBecauseof allyour deedsBy whichyou have rebelledagainst Me; For thenI will removefrom your midstYour proud,exultingones,And you will neveragainbe haughtyOn My holymountain.
The LORDof hostshas plannedit, to defilethe prideof allbeauty,To despiseallthe honoredof the earth.
Pride[goes] beforedestruction,And a haughtyspiritbeforestumbling.
You younger men,likewise,be subjectto [your] elders;and allof you, clotheyourselves with humilitytoward one another,for GODIS OPPOSEDTO THE PROUD,BUT GIVESGRACETO THE HUMBLE.
But He givesa greatergrace.Therefore[it] says,"GODIS OPPOSEDTO THE PROUD,BUT GIVESGRACETO THE HUMBLE."

For the LORDwill restorethe splendorof JacobLike the splendorof Israel,Even thoughdevastatorshave devastatedthem And destroyedtheir vinebranches.
