Aftermanydaysthe LORDsaidto me, "Arise,goto the Euphratesand takefrom therethe waistbandwhichI commandedyou to hidethere."
So I wentand hidit by the Euphrates,as the LORDhad commandedme.
Then I wentto the Euphratesand dug,and I tookthe waistbandfrom the placewhereI had hiddenit; and lo,the waistbandwas ruined,it was totallyworthless.
Then I looked,and behold,in the expansethat was overthe headsof the cherubimsomething like a sapphirestone,in appearanceresemblinga throne,appearedabovethem.
A dayof darknessand gloom,A dayof cloudsand thickdarkness.As the dawnis spreadoverthe mountains,[So] there is a greatand mightypeople;There has neverbeen[anything] likeit, Norwill there be againafterit To the yearsof manygenerations.
Menwere scorchedwith fierceheat;and they blasphemedthe nameof Godwho hasthe powerovertheseplagues,and they did not repentso as to giveHim glory.
