Nowthe passageof Scripturewhichhe was readingwas this:"HE WAS LEDAS A SHEEPTO SLAUGHTER;AND AS A LAMBBEFOREITS SHEARERIS SILENT,SOHE DOES NOT OPENHIS MOUTH.
BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONESHALL LIVEBY FAITH;AND IFHE SHRINKS BACK,MY SOULHASNOPLEASUREIN HIM.
But you have dishonoredthe poor man.Is it not the richwho oppressyou and personallydragyou into court?
You lustand do not have;[so] you commit murder.You are enviousand cannotobtain;[so] you fightand quarrel.You do not havebecauseyou do not ask.
AND IFIT IS WITH DIFFICULTYTHAT THE RIGHTEOUSIS SAVED,WHATWILL BECOMEOF THE GODLESS MANAND THE SINNER?
