For judgment[will be] mercilessto one who has shownnomercy;mercytriumphs overjudgment.
Then they saidto oneanother,"Trulywe are guiltyconcerningour brother,becausewe sawthe distressof his soulwhen he pleadedwith us, yet we would not listen;thereforethisdistresshas comeupon us."
"Nowtherefore, listento me and returnthe captiveswhomyou capturedfrom your brothers,for the burningangerof the LORDis againstyou."
With the kindYou showYourself kind;With the blamelessYou showYourself blameless;
Lovingkindnessand truthhave mettogether; Righteousnessand peacehave kissedeach other.
He who shutshis earto the cryof the poorWill alsocryhimselfand not be answered.
He who oppressesthe poorto makemorefor himself Or who givesto the rich,[will] only[come to] poverty.
When its limbsare dry,they are brokenoff; Womencome[and] makea firewith them, For they are not a peopleof discernment,Thereforetheir Makerwill not havecompassionon them. And their Creatorwill not be graciousto them.
but let him who boastsboastof this,that he understandsand knowsMe, that I am the LORDwho exerciseslovingkindness,justiceand righteousnesson earth;for I delightin thesethings,"declaresthe LORD.
"Sayto them, 'As I live!'declaresthe LordGOD,'I takenopleasurein the deathof the wicked,but ratherthat the wickedturnfrom his wayand live.Turnback,turnbackfrom your evilways!Whythen will you die,O houseof Israel?'
Whois a GodlikeYou, who pardonsiniquityAnd passesoverthe rebelliousactof the remnantof His possession?He does not retainHis angerforever,BecauseHe delightsin unchanginglove.
"Blessedare the merciful,for they shall receive mercy.
"But ifyou do not forgiveothers,thenyour Fatherwill not forgiveyour transgressions.
"But Abrahamsaid,'Child,rememberthat duringyour lifeyou receivedyour good things,and likewiseLazarusbad things;but nowhe is being comfortedhere,and you are in agony.
"Do not judge,and you will not be judged;and do not condemn,and you will not be condemned;pardon,and you will be pardoned.
But the wisdomfrom aboveis firstpure,thenpeaceable,gentle,reasonable,fullof mercyand goodfruits,unwavering,without hypocrisy.
Behold,the payof the laborerswho mowedyour fields,[and] which has been withheldby you, criesout [against you]; and the outcryof thosewho did the harvestinghas reachedthe earsof the Lordof Sabaoth.
Adoni-bezeksaid,"Seventykingswith their thumbsand their bigtoescutoffused to gatherup [scraps] undermy table;as I have done,soGodhas repaidme." So they broughthim to Jerusalemand he diedthere.
